The Founder of TXG, Mr. Xiao was born in Shetou Township, Changhua County, Taiwan.
This area was known as the “The Kingdom of Socks,” which had a dense concentration of thousands of socks factories, garnering 60% of the world’s total socks production capacity. Mr. Xiao’s family has been in the socks manufacturing business since 1976. Under Mr. Xiao’s leadership, the company transformed from manufacturing traditional socks to developing business for high performance textile products.

He jump started Taiwan’s high-end socks industry by introducing the first batch of fully automated hosiery machines to produce medical grade compression socks. Next he endeavored to expand compression wear into other markets

He recalled many technical challenges when he began transitioning to high-end compression stockings. Without correct compression parameter setting, verified and corrected by the precision instrument, it is not possible to comply to international gradient compression standards.

Mr. Xiao’s dedication to production technology attracted the recognition of the international medical factory, and finally got the opportunity to manufacture the first batch of compression socks for export from Taiwan. Under the coaching of international medical socks manufacturers, he acquired key technologies to pioneer compression socks production in Taiwan. Until today, majority of the orders fulfill well-known European and American brands.

Mr. Xiao knows that it is not easy to produce a good pair of medical compression socks. Therefore, in 2009, TXG was founded to help improve the lives of international users. At present, TXG has authorized cooperation in key regions around the world to become the most trusted brand in the functional compression socks market.

Although born in the same community as Mr. Xiao, Ms. Chen had a very different life experience.

Since childhood, she recalled the family always had a mountain of socks, in which she and her neighborhood friends would dive into to play. In the early years, she opened the first European-style coffee shop in the area, and later on, she advanced her profession to Hotel food & beverages services.

During this stage of her life, she was exposed to long hours of standing. Colleagues taught her to wear compression socks for varicose vein prevention. Her legs often felt sore and weak. Eventually, she developed varicose veins. She could not understand how this could happen despite wearing compression socks religiously every day.

She learned from a cardiovascular specialists that many of his patients also had varicose veins. It turned out that wearing socks with incorrect pressure can cause vascular disease in the legs due to long-term back pressure.

In contemplating where to find effective medical compression socks to soothe her swollen and sore feet, she immediately recalled the piles of socks in her hometown. When she went back to her hometown, she discovered that most of the sock factories converted to producing compression socks. Only a handful however, produced genuine medical grade compression socks. If you want to buy a pair of good socks, you have to fly to Germany and Switzerland.

Due to her unique experiences and susceptibility to skins allergies, she is eager to find medical grade compression socks which she can promote to those who urgently need to prevent or treat varicose veins in the legs. In 2008, she started to prepare for TXG, and participated in compression socks R&D to improve design and comfort. In addition, she helped many OEM customers to improve product experience and user satisfaction.

Helping others with her own experience is her happiest and most important career goal in life.
